Klosters - Licht, Natur und Jahreszeiten
What remains when the light disappears?
LIGHT
IS
MAGIC
Spring mist over the forests. The harsh midday light of high summer. The multicolored flickering of the deciduous trees in October, the change from crystal-clear air to heavy snowfall in winter.
Expansive landscapes meet small observations along the way: blossoms, rocks, water, the textures of stone, light, and snow. This creates a photographic view of Klosters and its surroundings, revealing both the grand and the inconspicuous – and following the rhythm of nature throughout the year.
Each season brings its own light, telling a different story about the same place. The camera pauses, trying to capture the "magic"—the light disappears. What remains is the memory and the image.
I am pleased to publish initial information here about my upcoming photo exhibition at the Kulturstall Klosters.
From Saturday, June 13th until mid-October, I will be presenting my own photographs from the rear Prättigau region in this small, very special gallery.
All photos are fine art prints – exposed, processed, and framed by me. No industrial process, no intermediaries. What you see is what I tried to capture in the image: light with its "magical" qualities, moods, and emotions – captured on high-quality paper and presented with style.
The "Kulturstall" (cultural barn)
For those who are not yet familiar with the Kulturstall: The Kulturstall in Klosters is a former cowshed that now serves as a vibrant exhibition and meeting place for regional art and cultural activities.
The cultural center with its exhibition space can be reached with a short walk from the center of Klosters. Allow approximately 20 minutes.
If you wish to come by car, there are some parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity of the stable on "Russnaweg".
