The Faroe Islands are an archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean between Iceland and Norway. They belong to the Kingdom of Denmark and consist of 18 islands. The landscape is characterized by green mountains, steep cliffs, and impressive waterfalls. The weather is often windy and rainy. The Faroe Islands are known for their sheep, their unique natural environment, and their small, colorful houses.
