The book showcases views and aspects of the diverse landscapes surrounding the town in the upper Prättigau valley. The municipality of Klosters in the canton of Graubünden encompasses not only the main Prättigau valley but also several striking side valleys. Four of the largest and most scenically and culturally significant side valleys are presented in the new book with text and images.
For many years now, I've frequently traveled with my camera in this corner of southeastern Switzerland. Over that time, I've accumulated a great many photos, taken in all seasons. Some of these pictures have repeatedly found their way into my photo calendars.
At the beginning of 2025, I decided to "process" a somewhat wider selection of images into a photo book.
For now, the book is only available in a small (very small) first edition. Whether there will ever be a larger print run is currently unclear.
